Незначительные потёртости краёв корешка. В нижнем поле корешка золотым тиснением суперэкслибрис "В.А." под княжеской короной, в верхнем - бумажная наклейка с номером книги в библиотеке. Матье-Огюст Жеффруа (Mathieu Auguste Geffroy; 1820-1895) - французский историк; был профессором истори в Сорбонне, директором французской школы в Риме.
