Coupe en agate avec monture en or et émail, XIXe s., dans le style d'Annibale Fontana, Italie XVIIe s. , formant centre de table, les trois grâces tenant une coupe de forme navette en agate avec une monture en or, le devant avec un grotesque portant une couronne de Hydra à 5 têtes, derrière un serpent en or émaillé vert, le couvercle avec prise en forme de femme nue assise sur une butte, h. 21 cm, long. 19 cm (couvercle 200g 18k)

Bon état général au regard de l'âge de la pièce.

Il n'est pas possible de peser ni la tige avec les 3 grâces, ni les têtes, ni la queue de l’hydre car elles sont fixées à l'agate.

Nous avons réalisé des analyses sur les métaux avec le plus grand soin avec le pistolet XRF et à la pierre de touche. Toutefois, nous attirons votre attention sur le fait que ces analyses sont réalisées en surface et ne peuvent garantir la teneur d'or en profondeur. Cette coupe n'a pas été testée par le Contrôle des métaux précieux suisse.

Au niveau du couvercle:

La bordure, la partie supérieure avec les vagues et le dos de la femme assise ont été testés à l'acide ainsi qu'au pistolet scientifique XRF avec des résultats supérieur à l'or 750/1000. Il est à noter la présence de 4 zones de couleur argentée. ( 1 au niveau du nez et les 3 autres au niveau de la bordure du couvercle : photos). Néanmoins, le rebord du couvercle a été rapporté et soudé depuis l'intérieur et pourrait porter une lame en métal.

Il est possible qu'il en soit de même pour la femme assise sur le sommet du couvercle, soudée à celui-ci. Présence d'oxydation dans le pli de jambes visible depuis le dessous.
Le couvercle est cabossé et ainsi déformé à l'arrière. Par conséquent, il ne se pose pas bien contre le bord de la coupe et n'est donc pas ajusté parfaitement à cette dernière.

Le pied:
Une des grâces a été testée à l'acide ainsi qu'au pistolet scientifique XRF avec résultats supérieurs à l’or 900/1000.
L'arbre central est creux.
Traces de saleté et de cire dans les creux des branches.

La base:
La base ronde du pied est attachée avec un écrou - voir photographies en annexe par mail du constat d'état
Cette base a été testée à l'acide ainsi qu'au pistolet scientifique XRF avec résultats supérieurs à l’or 900/1000.

Usures et manques à l'émail au niveau de l’hydre et les champlevés sur le rebord
Manque une perle sur le rebord. Il est à noter que les perles sont probablement naturelles mais n'ont pas été testées
Usures aux montures des émeraudes et petits dégâts sur certaines

It is not possible to weigh the stem with the 3 graces, the heads or the tail of the hydra as they are attached to the agate.

We have analysed the metals with great care using the XRF gun and the touchstone (acid). However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that these analyses are carried out on the surface and cannot guarantee the gold content at depth. This cup has not been tested by the Swiss Precious Metals Control (CMP).

The lid:

The border, the upper part with the waves and the back of the seated woman were tested with acid and with the XRF scientific gun with results superior to 750/1000 gold. It should be noted that there are 4 silver-coloured areas (1 at the nose and the other 3 at the edge of the lid: see photos). However, the rim of the lid has been added and soldered from the inside and could have a metal core within it.

The same may be true of the woman sitting on top of the lid, which has been welded to it. Oxidation in the leg folds is visible from below.

The lid is dented and thus deformed at the back. As a result, it does not sit well against the rim of the bowl and therefore does not fit the bowl perfectly.

The foot:

One of the graces has been acid tested as well as XRF scientific gun tested with results superior to 900/1000 gold.

The central shaft is hollow.

Traces of dirt and wax in the hollows of the branches.

The base:

The round base of the foot is attached with a screw and nut - see photographs attached by email to the condition report.

This base has been acid tested and XRF tested with results superior to 900/1000 gold.

The enamel is worn and missing on the hydra and the champlevé on the rim.

One pearl is missing from the rim. It should be noted that the pearls are probably natural but have not been tested.

Wear to the emerald mounts and minor damage to some of them
