Die Lampe ist in einem guten Zustand mit einer leichten Alterspatina. Die Höhe beträgt 70 cm. Die Funktionstüchtigkeit konnte nicht überprüft und kann nicht garantiert werden.

Kazuo Motozawa (geb. 1945)
Der weltbekannte japanische Designer Kazuo Motozawa wurde 1945 in Saitama, Japan, geboren. Er studierte am Musashino Art Junior College, welches er im Jahre 1968 als Absolvent des Industrial Designs verließ. 1971 gewann er mit „Saturno“ den begehrten internationalen IF Product Design Award – der für Designer eine bedeutende Auszeichnung darstellt. In der Zeit von 1977 bis 1985 war er Direktor des LD Yamagiwa Laboratorium und etablierte 1987 das HALO Design Laboratorium. In den folgenden Jahren stellte er seine Werke in verschiedenen Ausstellungen aus.

STAFF (gegr. 1945)
Die Firma Staff wurde 1945 von Alfred Staff in Lemgo gegründet und wird als Wegbereiter der Lichttechnik in Deutschland angesehen. Die Produktpalette des Unternehmens umfasste Lichtrohr-, Lichtdecken- und Außenleuchtensysteme, Stromschienen, Strahler, Ausstattungsleuchten sowie Ein- und Anbau-Downlights. STAFF erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen; 1987 wurde die Stiftung „Design und Licht“ gegründet. 1994 folgte die Übernahme des Unternehmens durch Zumtobel. Weltbekanntheit erhielt STAFF insbesondere durch die Einführung des Stromschienensystems und mit der Strahlserie „Discus“, welche die Lichtplanung und architektonische Gestaltung vorantrieb. (cko)

Kazuo Motozawa (b. 1945)
The world-renowned Japanese designer Kazuo Motozawa was born 1945 in Saitama, Japan. He studied at the Musashina Art Junior College, graduating in 1968 with a degree in industrial design. In 1971 he won the IF Product Design award with the lamp ‘Saturno’. He was managing director of the LD Yamagiwa laboratory from 1977 to 1985 and established the HALO Design Lab in 1987. In the following years, his designs were exhibited at various exhibitions.

The company STAFF was founded in 1945 by Alfred Staff in Lemgo and is considered a pioneer in lighting technology in Germany. The company's product range comprises light tubes, ceiling and outdoor lighting systems, track lights, radiators, equipment lights, as well as mounted and added lights. STAFF received numerous awards; 1987 was followed by the establishment of the ‘Design and Light’ Foundation. In 1994, STAFF was taken over by Zumtobel.
