Die Wandleuchten sind in einem guten Zustand mit leichten Altersspuren an der Montierung.Eine Wandleuchte weist eine geringfügige Restaurierung auf. Die Maße betragen jeweils ca. 83 x 38 cm. Die Funktionstüchtigkeit wurde nicht getestet und kann nicht garantiert werden.

Ercole Barovier (1889-1972)
Der Designer und Unternehmer Ercole Barovier war der Sohn von Benvenuto Barovier. Dem väterlichen Unternehmen mit dem Namen Vetreria Artistica Barovier & C. schloss er sich im Alter von 30 Jahren an. Von 1926 bis 1972 stand er der Firma als künstlerischer Leiter vor; 1936 wurde er alleiniger Inhaber. In seiner 50-jährigen Laufbahn erfand Ercole Barovier zahlreiche dekorative Techniken, welche die Glaskunst revolutionierten.

Barovier & Toso (gegr. 1942)
Barovier & Toso ist ein im 13. Jahrhundert gegründetes traditionelles Glasunternehmen mit derzeitigem Sitz im Palazzo Contarini in Murano. 1936 fusionierte das von der Familie der Barovier geleitete Unternehmen mit der Toso-Familie. Barovier & Toso produziert traditionelle Trinkgefäße, venezianische Kronleuchter und Glasobjekte aus venezianischem Glas einschließlich Perlmutt, kristallinem Glas und goldfreiem, karneolrotem Glas. Der leitende Designer Ercole Barovier entwarf unter anderem Glasobjekte wie Brillantati, Zebrati, Crepuscolo, Cordonato d’Oro und Arcanto. (cko)

Ercole Barovier (1889-1972)
The designer and entrepreneur Ercole Barovier was the son of Benvenuto Barovier. He joined the paternal company named Vetreria Artistica Barovier & C. at the age of 30. From 1926 till 1972, he was the artistic director of the company. In 1936, he became the sole owner. In his 50-years career, Ercole Barovier invented numerous decorative techniques which revolutionized the glass art.

Barovier & Toso is an Italian glass company that dates back to the 13th century and is currently based at the Palazzo Contarini in Murano, Italy. Originally founded by the Barovier family, the company merged with the Toso family in 1936. Specializing in Venetian glass, including mother-of-pearl glass, crystalline glass and gold-free cornelian red glass, Barovier & Toso produces traditional drinking vessels, Venetian chandelier and glass art. The chief designer, Ercole Barovier, designed many well-known glass designs, including Brillantati, Zebrati, Crepuscolo, Cordonato d’Oro and Acanto.
