Der Sessel ist in einem guten Zustand mit leichten Kratzspuren am Holzrahmen und minimalem Abrieb am Leder. Das vordere rechte Bein zeigt eine Absplitterung im Holz. Die Maße betragen ca. 90 x 76 x 96 cm.

Arne Norell war einer der bekanntesten schwedischen Möbeldesigner. 1917 geboren, gründete er 1954 seine eigene Firma, die Arne Norell Möbel AB, die er 1958 von Stockholm nach Småland verlegte. Seine Entwürfe, zu den bekanntesten zählt der Ari Easy Chair von 1966, waren vom dänisch-skandinavischen Design inspiriert und beeinflussten ihrerseits das restliche europäische Möbeldesign. (cko)

Arne Norell was one of the best known Swedish furniture designers. Born in 1917, he founded his own company in 1954, the Arne Norell Möbel AB, that he moved from Stockholm to Småland in 1958. His designs, with the Ari Chair from 1966 being one of the most popular ones, are inspired by the Danish-Scandinavian design and in turn influenced the continental European design ideas. (cko)
