Der Barhocker des dänischen Möbelherstellers Montana Møbler ist eine Variante des 1955 entworfenen „Tivoli“ Stuhls von Verner Panton. Die Metallrahmen dieser beiden Hocker sind mit schmalen schwarzen Polyurethanschnüren umwickelt und die Sitzflächen damit geflochten. Aufgrund der Materialien kann man die Stühle im Innen- und Außenbereich benutzen.

Die Barhocker messen jeweils 95 cm in der Höhe, 47 cm in der Breite und 42,5 cm in der Tiefe. Sie weisen minimale weiße Farbspuren auf und befinden sich in einem guten Zustand.

Verner Panton (1926-1998)
Der dänische Architekt und Designer Verner Panton gehört zu den wichtigsten und einflussreichsten Designern des 20. Jahrhunderts. Nach dem Studium an der Technischen Hochschule in Odense und der Königlich Dänischen Kunstakademie in Kopenhagen arbeitete er bei Arne Jacobsen. Er entwickelte aber schnell seinen eigenen Stil. Panton bevorzugte künstliche Materialien und knallige Farben, was die Pop Art-Ästhetik auf Möbel und Einrichtung übertrug und entscheidend unser Bild von den Sixties und Seventies prägen. Seine Designs wie der Panton Chair oder die Moon Lamp sind einzigartig. (ggo)

The barstool by manufacturer Montana Møbler is a derivative of the ‘Tivoli’ chair, which has been designed by Verner Panton in 1955. The metal frames of these two stools are wrapped with strings of polyurethane and the seats are woven with the same material. They can be used indoor and outdoor due to the materials.

Each chair measures 95 cm in height, 47 cm in width and 42.5 cm in depth. They have minimal traces of white color and the overall condition is good.

The Danish architect and designer Verner Panton is one of the most important and influential designers of the 20th century. After studying at the Technical University in Odense and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen he worked for Arne Jacobsen. He quickly developed his own personal style. Panton preferred artificial materials and loud colors, conferring the pop art aesthetic to furniture and interior decoration, which strongly influenced our image of the sixties and seventies.
