Die Lampe ist in gutem Zustand mit wenigen Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Die Kanten der Schirme sind minimal bestoßen. Die Lampe ist 110 cm hoch und misst 80 cm im Durchmesser.

Jules Leleu (1883-1961)
Jules Leleu wurde 1883 im französischen Boulogne-sur-Mer geboren. Er studierte zunächst Malerei und trat mit 26 Jahren die Nachfolge des Malerbetriebes seines Vaters an. Nach dem 1. Weltkrieg begann Leleu, sich auf die Herstellung von Möbeln zu spezialisieren und eröffnete eine eigene Galerie in Paris. In den Jahren 1924 und 1925 nahm er an der „Exposition Industrielle et Arts Decoratifs“ teil und wurde dort mit einem Preis ausgezeichnet. Es folgten zahlreiche Aufträge für die Innenausstattung von namenhaften Personen und Institutionen.

Jules Leleu (1883-1961)
Jules Leleu was born in the French Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1883. He first studied decorative painting and at the age of 26 became the successor of his father's painting company. After the World War I Leleu began to specialize in the manufacturing of furniture and opened his own gallery in Paris. In 1924 and 1925 he participated in the ‘Exposition Industrial et Arts Decoratifs’ and was awarded a prize, followed by numerous commissions from prominent people and institutions for interior design.
