Dieser Sessel ist ein Entwurf des Schweizer Designers Rolf Sachs. Er entstand 1990 in einer limitierten Auflage von elf Exemplaren, wovon der vorliegende die Nummer 1 ist. Der Sessel besteht aus einer zylindrischen Sitzschale, in welche die perlviolett bezogenen Sitzkissen eingelegt sind.

Der Sessel ist „Rolf Sachs 1/11 1990“ gemarkt und misst 66 x 98 x 84 cm. Er ist in gutem Zustand mit wenigen Gebrauchsspuren.

Rolf Sachs (geb. 1955)
Der aus Lausanne stammende Künstler, Designer und Bühnenbildern Rolf Sachs ist der Sohn des berühmten Fotografen Gunter Sachs. 1975 studierte er Wirtschaftswissenschaften an den Universitäten in London und San Francisco. Seit 1994 lebt Sachs in London und betreibt dort sein Designerstudio „rolf sachs fun c’tion“.

The present chair was designed by the Swiss designer Rolf Sachs. It was published in 1990 in a limited edition of eleven copies, of which the present one is the number 1. The chair consists of a cylindrical seat, in which are placed the pear violet seat cushions.

Condition:

The chair is marked with ‘Rolf Sachs 1/11 1990’ and measures 66 x 98 x 84 cm. It is in good condition, showing some wear.

Rolf Sachs (born 1955)
Born in Lausanne as the son of the famous photographer Gunter Sachs, Rolf Sachs works as an artist, furniture and stage designer. In 1975, he studied economics at the Universities of London and San Francisco. Since 1994, Sachs has been living in London where he runs his design studio ‘rolf sachs fun c'tion’.
