Der französische Inneneinrichter Maison Jansen hatte schon seit seiner Gründung ein besonderes Gespür für den Geschmack seiner Kunden. Mit exklusiven und aparten, oftmals dramatischen Interieurs gewann er Kunden auf der ganzen Welt. Opulente Leuchten in Pflanzenform waren in den 1970ern beliebt, um einen mondänen Hollywood-Chic zu verwirklichen.

Zustand:
Die Lampe ist in einem altersentsprechend guten Zustand mit leichten Altersspuren und einigen Kratzern, besonders an der Basis. Bei einem Kurzzeittest war die Lampe funktionstüchtig, ohne Garantie auf Dauerfunktion. Die Höhe ist etwa 250 cm, und der Durchmesser beträgt ca. 220 cm.

Maison Jansen gilt als einer der exklusivsten Inneneinrichter, gegründet 1880 in Paris von Jean-Henri Jansen. Seit Beginn legte Jansen den Focus auf die Verbindung von traditionellem Design mit Einflüssen des japanischen und türkischen Stils sowie der modernen Arts und Crafts-Bewegung. Auch Möbel im Stil Louis XIV, Louis XVI, dem Directoire und Empire zählten zu seinen Entwürfen. In den 1920er Jahren trat Stéphane Boudin dem Unternehmen bei; unter seiner Führung beliefert Maison Jansen Fürstenhäuser im In- und Ausland und stattete zudem das Weiße Haus während der Regierungszeit John F. From the very beginning, the French interior designer Maison Jansen had a special feel for the tastes of his customers. With exclusive and distinctive, often dramatic interior designs, he gained customers around the world. In the 1970s, opulent plant-shaped lamps met the period’s taste, symbolizing a sophisticated Hollywood chic.

Condition:
The lamp is in good condition, according to age, showing minor tarnishing and some scratch marks especially to the base. During in-house testing, the lamp was in working order, but long-term functionality cannot be guaranteed. The height is circa 250 cm, while the diameter is about 220 cm.

Maison Jansen is considered one of the most exclusive interior designers, founded in 1880 in Paris by Jean-Henri Jansen. Since the beginning, Jansen put the focus on the combination of traditional design with influences of Japanese and Turkish styles and the modern arts and crafts movement. As well, furniture in the style of Louis XIV, Louis XVI, Directoire and Empire were among his designs. In the 1920s, Stéphane Boudin joined the company; under his leadership Maison Jansen provided the royal houses in the country and abroad and also decorated the White House during the administration of John F.
