Die Armbanduhr ist in einem getragenen Zustand mit Gebrauchsspuren. Zifferblatt, Zeiger und Indices sind stellenweise leicht verschlissen. Der Zeiger für die Alarmfunktion ist locker. Im Kurzzeittest war die Uhr teilweise funktionstüchtig. Die Alarmfunktion ist reparaturbedürftig. Keine Garantie auf Ganggenauigkeit und -dauer. Der Gehäusedurchmesser beträgt 34 mm. Die Höhe beläuft sich auf 10 mm. Das Armband hat eine Länge von ca. 18,5 cm, währen die Bandanstöße 18 mm messen. Die Uhr wiegt insgesamt 37 Gramm.



Juvenia

Im Jahre 1860 gründete Jacques Didisheim eine Uhrmacherwerkstatt in der Stadt Saint-Imier in der Schweiz, die sich zu einer der weltweit führenden Schweizer Luxusuhrenhersteller entwickeln sollte. Bald darauf verlegte Disidsheim die Werkstatt nach La-Chaux-de-Fonds, wo er ein geeigneteres Umfeld für seine Vorhaben fand. Nach einem technischen Durchbruch im Jahre 1880, konnte die Firma mit der Entwicklung eines Uhrwerks mit Zylinderhemmung eine der ersten Damenarmbanduhren präsentieren. In den frühen 1900er Jahren wurden die ersten beiden Boutiquen in Paris und Madrid geöffnet. Im Laufe der Jahre revolutionierte und entwickelte Juvenia weiterhin Mechanik und Design, so wurde z.B. im Jahr 1914 auf der Schweizerischen Landesausstellung das kleinste Uhrwerk jeher vorgestellt und 1969 wurde das Modell der klassischen „Milanaise“ Uhr auf der Baseler Messe präsentiert. Noch heute ist Juvenia bekannt für Qualität, Präzision und richtungsweisende, innovative Designs. (nlu)

Condition:

The wristwatch is in a used condition with traces of wear. Dial, hands and indices are slightly worn and the hand for the alarm function is loose. During in-house testing, the watch was partially functional. The alarm function is in need of repair. Long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. The watch case measures 34 mm in diameter and 10 mm in height. The strap is approx. 18.5 cm long and the lugs width measure 18 mm. The timepiece weighs 37 grams.



Juvenia

In 1860, Jacques Didisheim established a watchmaking workshop in the town of Saint-Imier in Switzerland, which was to become one of the world’s leading luxury Swiss watch manufacturers. Soon afterwards he moved his workshop to La Chaux-de-Fonds, where he found a more ideal environment for his intentions. After a technical breakthrough in 1880 in developing a movement with a cylinder escapement, the company became one of the first manufacturers to offer a ladies wristwatch. In the early 1900s, the first two boutiques were opened in Paris and Madrid. Over the years Juvenia revolutionized and continued to develop mechanisms and designs, e.g. in 1914 the smallest movement constructed on a single level was presented at the Swiss National Exhibition and in 1969 the classic ‘Milanais’ type watches were introduced at the Basel Fair.
