Zustand:

Kürzlich war die Uhr zur Revision beim Uhrmacher. Sie ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit minimalen Gebrauchsspuren. Im Kurzzeittest war die Uhr voll funktionstüchtig. Keine Garantie auf Ganggenauigkeit und -dauer. Der Gehäusedurchmesser beträgt 15 mm. Die Höhe beläuft sich auf 7 mm. Das Armband ist ca. 15,5 cm lang, während die Bandanstöße 8 mm messen. Die Uhr wiegt insgesamt 9 g.

Technos

Im Jahre 1900 gründete Melchior Gunzinger das Unternehmen unter dem Namen N. Gunzinger-Hug in der Schweiz. 1920 übernahm Joseph Gunzinger die kleine Uhrenmanufaktur des Vaters und benannte sie in Gunzinger Bros. Ltd um. Die Marke Technos wurde schließlich im Jahre 1924 angemeldet und startete Produktion sowie weltweiten Export von Uhren mit diesem Namen. Die Firma wurde sehr erfolgreich und musste seine Kapazität erhöhen. Als das Unternehmen 1970 an General Watch Co. verkauft wurde, waren 450 Personen angestellt und die Uhren wurden weltweit exportiert, vor allem nach Brasilien und Japan. Die Firma bezog 1977 die Räumlichkeiten der Montres Edox SA und beide Unternehmen wurden unter einer neuen gemeinsamen Verwaltung organisiert. Technos wurde zur führenden Uhrenmarke in Brasilien, die Uhren sind allerdings nichtmehr Swiss made. (nlu)

The watch has recently been revised by a watchmaker. It is in a very good condition with minimal traces of wear. During in-house testing, the watch was fully functional. Long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. The watch case measures 15 mm in diameter and 7 mm in height. The strap has a length of approx. 15.5 cm, while the lugs width is 8 mm. The watch weighs 9 g.

Technos

In 1920 Joseph Gunzinger took over his father’s small watch manufacturing facility and changed the name to Gunzinger Bros Ltd. The trademark Technos was then registered in 1924 and started producing and exporting watches under this name. The company began to become very successful and had to increase its capacity. When the company was sold to General Watch Co in 1970, it occupied 450 people and exported worldwide, especially to Japan and Brazil. The company was transferred to Biel in the Montres Edox SA premises in 1977 and both companies were reorganized under a new joint management.
