Dem Mohr wurden vermeintlichen Schutzkräften nachgesagt, die oft zur Abwehr böser Mächte dienten. Daher waren Schmuckstücke mit solchen Elementen ausgesprochen beliebt.



Zustand:

Das Schmuckstück ist in sehr gutem Zustand mit nur leichten Tragspuren. Die Kettenlänge misst 42 und die Anhängerlänge ca. 6 cm. Das Gesamtgewicht beträgt ca. 62g.



Es ist seit Jahrhunderten gängige und anerkannte Praxis, die Farbe und Reinheit von Farb-Edelsteinen durch unterschiedliche Behandlungen zu verbessern. Nur wenn eine Behandlung zweifelsfrei ausgeschlossen werden kann, sind die Edelsteine als „unbehandelt“ beschrieben. (Gilt nicht für Diamanten)



Alle Edelsteine wurden von uns mit verschiedenen gemmologischen Geräten in gefasstem Zustand untersucht. Sollte ein Zertifikat oder ein externes gemmologisches Gutachten vorliegen, so ist dies in der Objektbeschreibung angegeben.

The moor was said to have alleged protection force which often served to ward off evil powers. Therefore jewels with such elements were extremely popular.



Condition:

This piece of jewelry is in very good condition with only slight signs of wear. The length of the necklace measures 42 and the length of the pendant is c. 6 cm. The total weight is c. 62g.



It has been common and accepted practice for hundreds of years to enhance color and clarity of colored gemstones by the use of different treatments. Only if such a treatment can unequivocally be excluded the gemstones are stated as “untreated”. (Not applicable to diamonds)
