Stedman's edition of Faden's important Revolutionary War battle plan of Bunker Hill. Faden's plan of Bunker Hill is one of the earliest and most famous battle plans of the American Revolution. Descriptive references to the plan lower left illustrate the battle surrounding the American fortifications at Breed's Hill and Bunker Hill, which became one of the most famous engagements of the American Revolutionary War. Map includes the 6 inch x 9 inch overlay showing the first day’s action and which is usually missing. 19.5 inches x 17 inches impression on watermarked 21.5 inches x 29.875 inches sheet.
