Pow Kee (fl. 1870s-90s), was 'an important commercial photographer known to have been operating a studio in Hankow (Hanjou) in the 1880s having previously worked in Canton (Guangzhou). From 1888 until sometime in the 1890s he operated in Nanking (Nanjing) and then in Shanghai' (Bennett). - Fünf der Photos mit einbelicht. Adresse 'Pow Kee Photographer Nanking', dat. 1888, bzw. 1889 u. 1890. Fünf Photos kolor. - Die Motive zeigen Landschaften, Straßenansichten, Tempel, Pferdefuhrwerke, Ming Gräber, Trachten-Darst., etc. - Tls. etw. Gebrauchs- u.
