Kurt Hermann Kühn studierte von 1946 bis 1952 an der Akademie für Graphik und Buchdruck in Leipzig sowie an der Hochschule für Bildende und Angewandte Kunst in Berlin. Von 1953 bis 1970 war er als Dozent an der Fachschule für Werbung und Gestaltung in Berlin und Potsdam tätig. Anschließend freischaffend als Maler und Graphiker tätig. 22 Jahre war er ehrenamtlicher Vorsitzender des Bezirksverbandes der Bildenden Künstler (VBK) der DDR in Potsdam. - Kurt Hermann Kühn studied from 1946 to 1952 at the Academy of Prints and Graphics in Leipzig as well as at the University of Fine and Applied Arts in Berlin. From 1953 to 1970 he worked as a lecturer at the College for Advertising and Design in Berlin and Potsdam. Subsequently freelance as a painter and graphic artist. For 22 years he was honorary chairman of the district association of the visual artists (VBK) of the GDR in Potsdam.
