"A remarkable early bibliographical tool, one still useful in that it records some books not in Haller's 'Bibliotheca botanica' (1771-72)" (Hunt). "The coverage of the book is excellent, due to the fact that Séguier saw an unusual number of libraries on his European tour. He furthermore consulted as many catalogues of private libraries as possible" (St.-C.). - Durchschossenes Exemplar. Gering gebräunt u. vereinzelt leicht stockfleckig.
