Die schönen Tafeln überwiegend zur Botanik, ferner einige Schlangen und Insekten. - Text unbeschnitten, teilw. gebräunt, gering stockfleckig, Bd. 4 erste Textbll. wasserrandig. Tafeln im Rand auf altes Papier montiert, wenige leicht knapp beschnitten u. wenige lose.
First edition. 5 vols. incl. the supplement. With 8 Black & white and 98 hand-coloured engr. plates. "The Collectanea provided a medium for Jacquin and his students to publish a miscellany of papers on natural history subjects, the majority botanical" (de Belder). - Text uncut and with wide margins, partly browned and slightly spotted, waterstaining to first leaves of vol. 4. Plates clean, few loose and very few slightly narrow margined. Contemporary half-calf, spines gilt, rubbing to covers, corners bumped, spines somewhat faded.
