This is a posthumous version of Willyam's 'Voyage up the Mediterranean', 1802. 32 of the original 43 plates were reissued, re-aquatinted and re-etched (plus 4 additional ones)" (Blackmer). Mit schön kolorierten Ansichten von Alexandria, Garda-See, Gibraltar, Kairo, Menorca, Rhodos, Syrakus, Venedig etc. - Stellenweise etwas fleckig. Es fehlen 5 Tafeln.
Somewhat spotted. Mod. half-calf with spine gilt, slightly rubbed. 5 plates missing.
