Tokyo. "Bansei on Edo ezu" (Plan of Edo). Farbholzschnitt hrsg. von Masakichi Yamashiroya u. Kichizo Fujiya, "Kaei 7" = 1854. Mit Schriftkasten u. einigen Segelschiffen. Auf 5 zusammengesetzte Papierstücke gedruckt; 62,5:84 cm + Ansatzstück unten rechts 14:30 cm. Gefaltet u. zwischen 2 braune Pappdeckel montiert mit Titelschild (17:11,5 cm; bestoßen).
EAL Berkeley Ea 166-3. - Stellenweise leicht braunfleckig. Einige tlw. große Risse u. Wurmlöcher bzw. -gänge in den Faltstellen mit kl. Bildverlust.
"Shows land tenures of daimyo and hatamoto, with some crests", also with pictorial temples and shrines and distance chart. With the lotus symbol for the emperor's residence. - Colour woodcut on native paper, printed on 5 sheets joined. Folded as usual within 2 brown cardboards with title piece (17:11,5 cm). Light occasional spotting. Several tears and worming to old folds affecting image resp. with small loss of it; extension only pasted at middle.
