Zeigt Grönland u. den Nord-Atlantik bis zur Nordspitze Neufundlands sowie Irland u. den größten Teil von Großbritannien. - Mit etwas Plattenton; gereinigt u. stabilisiert, tlw. noch leicht fleckig. Bugeinriß an beiden Enden bis in den Bildrand hinterlegt, kl. Wurmspuren mittig. Rare and fine map of the northern Atlantic region by Goos in its first state (of 4), publ. only in 3 ed. of the Water World by Janssonius from 1659 onwards; our copy from the first Latin ed., still with the original title (later changed by J. in "Typus Maritimus"), with text on reverse and numb. Repaired tear to both ends of centerfold just affecting image, small worming at center.
