Mittelamerika sowie der südamerikan. Nordküste. - Restauriert: gereinigt u. stabilisiert, noch leicht fleckig, Kartenbild mit Spuren von hs. Notizen in Tinte, längerer Text rechts im w. Rand deutlich lesbar u. 1 links. Alte Faltstellen geplatzt, geglättet u. verstärkt. Großer Ausriß unten links ergänzt, Nebenkarte (ca. 26:15, cm) vollständig u. sorgfältig nachgezeichnet, ferner mittig unten schmaler Streifen (26:1 cm) ebenso ergänzt. Scarce wall map of North and Central America. "This map seems to be based upon the various maps by Bowen and Gibson, Carrington Bowles and Pownall" (L.). - 4 sheets, joined; Uncol. Carefully cleaned, sized and restored: former foldings with splits, tears and flaws strengthened; complete loss of the inset map of California at lower left and parts of image at lower center expertly supplied in mss. Old marginalia in ink to right white margin, another one at left, and remants of it at center of image too.
