"Advertisement" (pag. 2/3) mit Erläuterungen hierzu, ein Drucktitel für die Tafeln ist auch bei Vergleichsexemplaren nicht bekannt. - OU. leicht fleckig und mit Eckausriß, das Textbl. und die 2 ersten Tafeln auch mit kl. Randläsuren. Taf. vereinzelt geringfügig stockfleckig, 5 Taf. etwas gebräunt. Rare collection of 23 (2 folding) coulour-printed lith. plates finished by hand (all published; numbered out of sequence). No text apart from preliminary "Advertisement" leaf, the projected iconography of North American silva remained unwritten. - Small marginal tears to leaf of text and first 2 plates, some browning to 5 plates. Loose with upper wrapper (trimmed, defective at lower left corner and mounted) in modern rexine drop-back box.
