FINE CENSER.
China. Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Probably 18th/19th c.
Bronze with dark patina. Flat, round shape with wide offset opening and separate lid with an extremely fine cut lattice. Height 6cm, Ø 13cm. Condition A/B.
This type of censers are often referred to as hand warmers.

Bronze mit dunkler Patina. Flache, runde Form mit abgesetzter Öffnung. Diese bedeckt von einem abnehmbaren Deckel mit überaus fein geschnittenem Gitter. Höhe 6cm, Ø 13cm. Zustand A/B.
Diese Art von Weihrauchbrenner werden oft auch als Handwärmer bezeichnet.
