BODHISATTVA WITH AUREOLE.
China. Probarbly Sui dynasty (581-618).
Bronze with gilding. Standing in tribhanga on a lotus on a high footed stand. The right hand raised to the shoulder, over which a long yogi string is slung. Behind the crowned head a drop shaped aureole with flame border. Height 9cm, width 3cm. Condition A/B.

Bronze mit Vergoldung. Stehend in tribhanga-Haltung auf einem Lotos auf einem Sockel auf hohen Beinen. Die Rechte zur Schulter erhoben, über die auch eine lange yogi-Schnur verläuft. Hinter dem bekrönten Kopf eine blattförmige Mandorla mit Flammenrand. Höhe 9cm, Breite 3cm. Zustand A/B.
