A NEPHRITE 'SQUIRREL AND MELON' SNUFF BOTTLE, 1770-1870 Nephrite of celadon color with russet inclusions, smooth surface polish. China, 1770-1870Ingeniously carved to depict an astute little squirrel sitting on the larger of two melons, both hanging from the same solid stem and surrounded by their leaves.
