A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'BASKET-WEAVE' SNUFF BOTTLE Nephrite, of even celadon color with dark russet 'horizon and cloud' inclusions. Smooth surface polish. China, 1740-1820 The 'basket-weave' pattern is a classic among jade snuff bottle designs and became popular already during the early to mid-18th century.
