THREE GEM-SET RINGS 1st: Diamond and gem-set ring Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.25ct total Circular-cut rubies Marquise-cut green gemstone One gemstone deficient 18 carat gold London import mark Ring size approx. K½ 2nd: Three-row diamond ring Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.80ct total Ring size approx. K½ 3rd: Ruby and diamond ring Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.15ct total Circular-cut rubies 18 carat gold UK import mark Ring size approx. L Total weight approx. 16.5g (3) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to yellow metal. 1st: Inner hoop with London import mark for 18 carat gold, and other rubbed marks. Rubies displaying a deepish-medium red hue. Green gemstone displaying a medium green hue. One gemstone deficient. 2nd: Inner hoop marked NS 750. Unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 18ct gold), with discolouration visible throughout. Reverse of mount with minor break to metal. Diamonds bright and lively. 3rd: Inner hoop marked DIA with UK import mark and date letter v for 1995. Rubies measuring very approx. 2.5mm displaying a medium pinkish red hue. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
