Brass hilt with slotted counter-guard, tapering knuckle bow connecting to a ring beneath a multi-ring-turned pommel, spiral carved hard wood grip with brass wire wrapping; curved single-edge blade with false edge at the tip and single narrow fuller, the blade marked '1774' and with a mostly worn emblem. Blade lg. 29 1/2, 35 5/8 in Condition: Hilt toned to yellow, the outboard edge of the guard has a crack; blade has overall gray mottling and spots of light pitting, blade edge has several nicks.
