Annely, Late 17th/Early 18th Century With turn-off two-stage cannon barrel, plain tang, rounded lock signed in capitals, highly figured rootwood stock with moulded apron around the tang and globose butt, and drop-shaped trigger (some old rust patination), indistinct proof marks and barrelsmith's mark 6.5 cm. barrel Footnotes: L. Annely appears to be unrecorded, however an I. Annely is recorded by W. Keith Neal and D.H.L.
