Two London delftware plates, one dated 1759, the other circa 1790 Painted in red, yellow, green, blue and manganese, one with stylised flowering plants before a fence and rockwork, further floral sprays to the rim, inscribed 'IAM 1759' in blue to the reverse, 21.6cm diam, the other Lambeth, brightly painted with a central octagonal spider's web-like rosette inscribed 'I I;C', within formal borders of flower sprigs, 23.6cm diam (2) Footnotes: Provenance Moreton Collection, Sotheby's, 27 July 1982, lot 280 (part) ('Ann Gomm') With Anthony Belton, 1982 ('Ann Gomm') With Garry Atkins, 1996 (dated) Graham Slater Collection The dated example was exhibited by Garry Atkins, An Exhibition of English Pottery (1996) and is not recorded by Lipski and Archer, Dated English Delftware (1984).
