L'Union Soviétique remporte le tournoi devant la Tchécoslovaquie et le Canada. Les médailles ont au revers un pictogramme représentant la discipline sportive. Design Roger Excoffon. La médaille d'or est en vermeil (poinçons), poids 124 grs, diamètre 60 mm, tranche lisse de 3,3 mm avec son ruban aux couleurs olympiques. La médaille d'argent d'un poids de 115 grs en argent, diamètre 60 mm, tranche lisse de 3,3 mm avec son ruban aux couleurs olympiques. La médaille de bronze d'un poids de 111 grs en bronze, diamètre 60 mm, tranche lisse de 4 mm. Les trois médailles sont dans leurs boîte de présentation. En très bon état. Rarissime ensemble (jamais vu en vente). Pièces de musée. Set of three official winner medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze for the Ice Hockey events of the X Winter Olympic Games. The Soviet Union won the tournament, finishing ahead of Czechoslovakia and Canada. The medals feature a pictogram representing the sport on the reverse side, designed by Roger Excoffon. The gold medal is made of vermeil (hallmarked), weighing 124 grams, with a diameter of 60 mm and a smooth edge of 3.3 mm, accompanied by a ribbon in Olympic colors.
