Panneau métallique de la 6th Guards Army Tank Brigade. Metal panel of the 6th Guards Tank Brigade En métal. Panneau réglementaire, représentant l'insigne de la brigade. Insigne peint à 90%. Sous celui-ci se trouve un panneau orientable peint, représenant une flèche directionnelle. Clips de maintien du panneau directionnel fonctionnel. Huit positions possibles. Hauteur 115 cm. A noter une certaine patine et oxydation de la pièce. Panneau laissé dans son état de découverte. Pièce trouvée par Bertrand Paris lors d'une visite dans une auberge située à Saint Côme du Fresné, près d'Arromanches. Illustrée page 46 du livre 75 objets du Débarquement de Normandie. Attestation originale de provenance signée de Bertrand Paris jointe avec un exemplaire de l'ouvrage. Regulatory road sign in metal displaying the insignia of the Brigade. The insignia is painted 90%. Under it is a painted panel whose position can be shifted, with a directional arrow. Retention clips allow the directional panel to be re-positioned to eight different settings. Height 115 cm. Note some discoloration and oxidation of the item. Panel presented as found. The item was found by Bertrand Paris during a visit to a local auberge in Saint Cômes de Fresné, near Arromanches. An illustration can be found on page 46 in the book 75 objects of the Landings in Normandy.
