OINOCHOE H. 25.7 cm. Ton, dunkelbrauner Mattfirnis. Italo-Geometrisch, Cumae (?), 7. Jh.v.C.Leicht gestauchter, birnenförmiger Körper auf konischem Fuss; hohe Mündung; Kleeblattausguss und Bandhenkel. Dekor: umlaufende horizontale und vertikale Streifen, s-förmiger Ornamentalfries und Strahlenkranz. Am Bauch Fehlbrand. Boden bestossen.Provenienz: Ehem. Italo-Geometric, Cumae (?), 7th cent. B.C.Slightly squat, piriform body on a conical foot; tall neck with trefoil mouth and strap handle. Decorated with encircling horizontal and vertical stripes, S-shaped ornamental frieze and rays. Misfiring on the belly.
