ATTISCH-ROTFIGURIGE SCHALE Dm. max. 22.5 cm. Oranger attischer Ton, schwarze glänzende Tonfarbe, stellenweise dünn und zu Braunrot gebrannt. Attisch, um 440 v.C.Die Innenseite zeigt zwei nackte Jünglinge, der rechte hält einen Stock. Das Bild ist mit einem abgesetzten, unterbrochenem Mäander mit Schachbrettplatten gerahmt. Auf der Aussenseite flankieren zwei junge Männer in Himatia einen nackten Jüngling. Unter den Henkeln sind Palmettenkomplexe aufgetragen. Aus Fragmenten zusammengesetzt, fehlende Stücke mit Gips ersetzt und getönt. Oberfläche stellenweise berieben. Am linken Henkelansatz drei Rillen einer alten Reparatur mit Metallklammern.Provenienz: Ehem. The tondo is framed with a stopt, broken maeander with chequerboard squares. On the outside, a naked youth is flanked by two youths wearing himatia. Palmette complexes under the handles. Reassembled from fragments, missing pieces made good in plaster and painted. Surface rubbed in places.
