Josef Breitner (1864-1930)
Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Dozent und später als Professor an der Kunstgewerbeschule Wien schuf der Wiener Bildhauer Porträtbüsten und Statuen, wie auch kunstgewerbliche Arbeiten. Er unternahm Studienreisen nach Paris, Florenz, Deutschland und weitere Städte und war stark vom Werkbund und dem Jugendstil beeinflusst. (lez)

Josef Breitner (1864-1930)
Besides his occupation as lecturer and professor at the Vienna school of arts and crafts the sculptor Breitner created portrait busts and statues as well as works of arts and crafts. He went on educational trips to Paris, Florence, Germany and further cities and was influenced by the Germany Werkbund and art nouveau. (lez)
