Dieses Stockbarometer wurde in Deutschland gefertigt und datiert in die Zeit um 1880. Montiert ist das Instrument auf Palisander. Es besitzt zudem einen Stellzeigermechanismus in Messing und ein Zifferblatt bestehend aus Milchglas. Besonders ins Auge tritt hierbei das Thermometer mit Celsius- und Réaumur-Anzeige und das kunstvoll ausgearbeitete Gehäuse aus Palisander.

This stick barometer dates back to the time around 1880 and was built in Germany. All parts of the instrument are directly mounted onto rosewood. The barometer owns a dial consisting of milk glass. Quite noteworthy appears the thermometer with Celsius and Réaumur-scale and the highly elaborated rosewood housing.
The stick barometer is in a very good condition with minimal signs of age and wear. It measures 97 cm in height, 15.5 cm in width and 6 cm in depth. There is no guarantee on functionality. (bal)
