Zustand:
Die Geige ist in einem altersentsprechend guten, restaurierungsbedürftigen Zustand mit einem Deckenstimmriss, leichtem Abrieb der Lasur und typischen Trockenheitsrissen. Die Saiten wurden später ausgetauscht; eine Saite fehlt. Das Bogenhaar muss ersetzt werden. Der spätere Kasten weist unwesentliche Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die Geige misst ca. 59 x 19,5 x 3,5 cm, die Korpuslänge ist 35,4 cm, und der Bogen ist 74 cm lang. Der Geigenkasten hat eine Größe von ca. 10 x 77 x 25 cm. (cko)

Condition:
The violin is in good condition, according to age, and needs to be restored. It shows a soundpost crack, slight abrasion of the glaze and typical dryness cracks. The strings were replaced later; one of the strings is missing. The bow hair needs to be replaced. The later box has minor traces of use. The violin measures approximately 59 x 19.5 x 3.5 cm, the corpus length is 35.4 cm, and the bow is 74 cm long. The violin case has a size of about 10 x 77 x 25 cm. (cko)
