Guter Originalzustand

Dieses wunderschöne Tafelklavier wurde Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts von der königlichen Hof-Pianofortefabrik „Hornung & Möller“ in Kopenhagen hergestellt. Es ist aus Palisanderholz mit Messingintarsien gefertigt und besitzt eine Tastatur aus Elefenbein und Ebenholz. Weitere Besonderheiten sind die geschwungenen Korpusseiten mit kürzerer Instrumentenrückwand, die Pedalhalterung in Lyraform und der Klangboden mit Verzierungen oberhalb der Mechanik. Zudem ist es mit einem Notenpult und Rollen an den Füßen ausgestattet.

Das Tafelklavier befindet sich in einem altersentsprechend guten Originalzustand mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren. Oberhalb der Tastatur befindet sich die Bronzeplakette des Herstellers: „Hornung & Möller, Hof-Pianofortefabrik, KIÖBENHAVN“. Das Piano ist abschließbar, der Schlüssel ist jedoch nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Abmessungen betragen 91 x 186 x 84 cm (H x B x T). (vwe)

The piano manufacturer ‘Hornung & Moller’ in Copenhagen manufactured this beautiful square piano in the mid-19th century. The curved body with a shortened back is made of rosewood with brass inlays. It is equipped with an ivory and ebony keyboard. Other special features are the lyre-shaped pedal bracket in and the soundboard with ornaments above the mechanics. It is also equipped with a music stand and legs on castors.

The square piano is in good, age-appropriate original condition with slight signs of wear. Above the keyboard a bronze medal shows ‘Hornung & Möller, Hof-Pianofortefabrik, KIÖBENHAVN‘. The piano is lockable, but the key is lost. The dimensions are 91 x 186 x 84 cm (height x width x depth). (vwe)
