Gesamtmaße: ca. 30 x 22,5 x 15 cm
Sehr guter Zustand
Putten sind formal und in der Profanikonografie auch inhaltlich aus der Antike übernommen und werden meist spielend oder mit sinnbildlichen Tätigkeiten befasst dargestellt. Bereits seit der Gotik gibt es die Darstellung von Kinderengeln, doch erst mit der Renaissance tritt der nackte Putto auf.
Zustand:
Die Skulptur ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit natürlichen Alters- und Witterungspuren. Oberflächen teils berieben. Unten eine Restaurierung mit Bestoßung. Rückseitig Teile einer alten Eisenmontierung. Die Gesamtmaße betragen ca. 30 x 22,5 x 15 cm.

Very good condition
Putti are formally and, in profane iconography also textually, adopted from antiquity and are usually portrayed playing or performing allegorical activities. Representations of putti have already existed since the Gothic period, but only during Renaissance the naked putti occured.
Condition:
The sculpture is in a very good condition with natural signs of age and weathering. Surfaces partially rubbed. At the lower part a restoration with chip. On the reverse parts of an old iron mounting. The overall dimensions measure c. 30 x 22.5 x 15 cm.
